Follow up with the plastic surgeon, Doctor Falcon, yesterday. Basal cell carcinoma, removed, 8.2 x 6 x 3cm. Surgical resection margins free of tumor. Looks like I'm good to go for a while, barring any more surprises.
Doctor Magovern told me that the spots in my eyes as well as the numbness in my right arm and right leg are results of the anesthetic and the contortions involved in the surgery and will all disappear eventually. I am now cleared to play guitar again. Biggest surprise of the day; after examining my sternum, I was cleared to drive a car, just 2 weeks after my triple by-pass, 4 weeks ahead of what I was told would be the minimum recovery time. Some awesome people have been throwing their good wishes my way!!!
No activity expected here for awhile. I was released from the hospital last Tuesday after an emergency triple bypass. The recovery is going to take a while. Can't lift over 5 pounds and my arms are to numb to draw. Typing is even rough. So that 's where I be!
